I’m an award-winning storyteller, broadcaster, mentor and educator with over two decades of experience captivating radio audiences and guiding aspiring media professionals.
Since moving to Canada from Singapore in 2020, I’ve made it my mission to continue telling meaningful stories while helping the next generation of media talent find their voice.
In Toronto, I worked in radio and served as a mentor and instructor at Toronto Metropolitan University’s The Creative School, building on several years of teaching at Singapore’s School of Film and Media Studies. I’ve recently relocated to Victoria, B.C., where I now work as a multimedia journalist — presenting and writing stories from across the Greater Victoria Area.
My passion for storytelling began in Manila, the Philippines, where I was born and raised. I’ve also lived in New York and Los Angeles—experiences that have helped shape a global perspective I bring to every story, classroom, and conversation.
Whether I’m covering municipal politics, producing video stories, or editing human interest features, I bring curiosity, empathy and a global lens to every story. I’m a quick study, a collaborative spirit, and someone who thrives in newsrooms that champion diverse voices and creative storytelling.
When I’m not chasing a story, you’ll likely find me on a road trip with my wife and our two dachshunds—camera in hand, radio on, soaking up the world one mile at a time.
